I really don’t like that guy
With ‘meteorologist’ stamped as his name
He likes to play with stars and clouds
Because the weather is his special game
Says to all, “The sun will shine warm and bright” “the skies will be crystal clear tonight”
But when you step outside, in a t-shirt and shorts
You realize there was no truth in his reports!
The sky threatens all with thunder and lightening
The way it rumbles an roars Is truly frightening!
‘maybe a mistake was made, could’ve read the wrong chart’
You say to your own crying, disappointed heart
That night you are ready to gaze at the stars
Take with you food for two and a pretty guitar
But the sky is shrouded in ominous facts
You can’t see the stars through a crevice or crack
To see them, all You need is a small keyhole
“the weatherman was wrong” the coincidence seems so very droll
Considering the history between the weatherman and you
There’s a lot of coincidences like these, but you shut up because you dont want to look like a fool
But the weatherman lied in the worst kind of way
He made promises to all of a warm sunny day
Resulting in nothing by umbrellas and ganchos
People stayed in today, warm in their panchos
So that’s why I don’t like the weatherman
I don’t care if you’re his biggest fan
He makes promises to all and breaks them
And when people decry him, he decides to forsake them
He’s the biggest liar I have ever known
Made me promises yet left me all alone
Because you are the weatherman
The stars and clouds are my heart and mind
Because you are the weatherman
Had me fooled, thought you were honest and kind
You are the weatherman, promising me sun
You are the weatherman, played your game, had your fun
So screw you weatherman, screw you
Damn, didn’t look at the weather, but the sky has become a clear blue
